Had my first external examinations invigilation yesterday. For a straight 9 hours inclusive of an hour break. It was tiring and boring having to walk up and down the aisle. But then again, it was an easy money. Afternoon invigilation was a breeze as time seems to pass so quickly. And I ran into several former schoolmates at the exam hall.
Rushed home to catch the Singapore-Uzbekistan game. Couldn't make it in time to catch it Live from the Stadium. It was a really entertaining game. 7-3 scorline in favour of the visitors. Despite that huge margin of a loss for the Lions, credits should be given to them for having the spirits to fight back despite being so many goals down. The goals they scored were really magnificent but the goals conceded was really horrendous!
I am not sure what Lionel Lewis was thinking in the first half when he let in several soft goals. But his performance in the second half was slightly better. Let's just hope the best for the Lions as they continue to create history. Hopefully, they will learn from the mistake and redeem themselves for the away match. I am sure many Singaporeans will still root for them.
