Watta hell of a bummer!
The plan was, the day after returning from the KL trip, was to fetch adik. Bring him to the movies and watch Alvin and the Chipmunks[probably the whatever slots available since it had been quite a while since its running] on Friday and a very good swim on Saturday.
The plan didn't materialise because adik fell ill on Thursday and Friday. Luckily, I've bought the Alvin and the Chipmunks DVD for him so missing a trip to the cinema wasn't so bad after all cos he could have an extra day off and rest while we get ready for the swim which is of much interest to him rather than the movie.
Unfortunately, at 3.45 am on Saturday morning, I was awakened from my sleep and felt like vomiting. Yes, I did vomit and it was greenish in colour! I vomited again sometime around 7 am or so and again at around 9 am. That's it. The swimming plan had to be cancelled as I couldn't even stand upright. I fell asleep at 11 am all the way till 2 pm with my nephew by my side.
I dragged myself to the doctor and made in time before the doctor calls it a day. 5 different kinds of medication. Fever, Gastric, Sore Throat, Giddiness and antibiotics. Cost me $30 but luckily, being a civil servant, I save $10! Haha..
In the evening, when I ate all 5 medications, I had to run to the toilet and vomit everything out cos I couldn't eat any food BUT I had to have food before the medication. My nephew was nagging at me. Saying something about being sick and vomitting and not taking medicine or something between that line. Irritating yet adorable.
I sent him home feeling bad and disappointed that I couldnt fulfilled my promised. He wouldn't let me go just now.. I know he would be upset when he wakes up tomorrow morning. Well, he have to wait till April before I starts my sem break again.
And... its back to school tomorrow!! What a bummer! Blackboard will be my bestfriend again. The printer and laptop will be put to work all over again. The brain cells will be exhausted even before the exams begin. And yes, welcome back sleepless nights!!
