2007 came and left.
2007 has been a bittersweet year for me. I began 2007 knowing that I'll have a career switch, knowing that 'C' would be posted to London and also knowing that I'll missed all the memories I've had since December 2004.
I left Spin on 23rd February 2007 and began my contract as an educator on 19th March 2007. Two events that happened on two important dates which are associated to my loved ones. 03rd August 2007 sees me back in school as a student once again.
The journey seemed long but it was beautiful and memorable.
2008 has arrived.
What's in store for the New Year? Only God knows. A brand new year and of course a brand new resolution. I am aiming for a perfect result just like how he have done all this while. And, I have started doing my homework. I do not want to disappoint him again.
So, how did I bid 2007 goodbye and ushered in 2008?
Left for KL on 29th Dec 2007. On 31st Dec 2007, we went shopping from noon till about 10pm. Reached the apartment that we were staying and started cooking. We had a wonderful time during the holidays. Dinner was ready at 11.55 pm on 31st December and it was consumed at the stroke of midnight of 01st January 2008 with fireworks display which was just opposite of us, coming from the directions of KLCC and its surrounding.
During the 5 days in KL, we shopped, talked, laughed, cooked, cleaned the house, read books, fooled ard, got our hair done, etc. But nothing beats the enjoyment we shared together. It was really happening. The walk we had... from Berjaya Time Square to Bukit Bintang to Petaling Street and from Petaling Street back to Bukit Bintang on New Year's Day. Bukit Bintang to Petaling Street is about 1.5 km apart and going to and fro makes it a 3 km walk. Plus the fringe walking we'd done prior and after that 3 km walk, I'd guess we have walked about 5-6 km in total just for New Year's Day. The walk wasn't tiring because of the company I'd had.
The holiday had barely ended yet we're already planning for another trip which would be a great fun again! Yeay... Bangkok vs Genting. February 2008!
