**** I felt asleep after typing the last word. And I thought I have clicked on the Publish Post tab. Yet, I was wrong! Luckily for the auto save function, this post is intact!****

First thing first.. Today was the commencement of the new school term. And, it was chaotic! A normal 15 minutes journey to school took about 40-45 minutes. And, the number of people snaking down the escalator at Boon Lay Mrt was so terrible that it seemed as if all of us were queueing up for entrance to enter the National Day Parade! Hahah..



Actually, it wasn't funny when you got out of your house early and barely made it to school! And, to fight all these obstacles just to attend a 2 hours lecture and after that.. home sweet home! Hahaha.. What a start to the term! What's with a comical lecturer... haiz. What can I say? Since I've chosen this path, I'd jolly well make full good use of it.



Anyway, I am happy today cos I've finally configured my wireless network. It was more of a password that refused to function hand in hand! Urgh....!!! So, Internet access is already in its way! How nice!!! *wide grin*



And, I've to make a declaration. As of today, 6th Aug 2007, I officially declared that I am allergic to shopping malls!! Urgh...!! When I say allergic, that means I'll ease the itch with my MONEY!!! That was what I did within 5 minutes. I spent a dollar less to make it closed to $50 bucks!! It would have been more had it not been for my member's card. I bought a toy for my laptop costing close to $20. And, yes.. the third cartridge for my printer in less than 2 months!! I didn't dare to buy the colour ink cartridge. I would definitely be broke by then. Hahaha... I would probably sign a contract with canon or something... Lol... Sheesh! I should have make a pact with my former Japanese customers to get a contract/endorsements/discounts or anything else to ease my financial burden. Hahaha.. I foresee that I will be doing a lot of printing from now on! Haiz...

On a lighter note, Manchester United have clinched their 12th FA Community Shield title last night. On a sweeter note, my Giggsy scored his first goal at Wembley as a professional player; being the only other goal he scored was at age 14 when he was playing for the England schoolboys using the name Ryan Wilson. So, yesterday marked his 142nd goal in the Red Devils outfit. How nice!



So, the game ended in a 1-1 draw at regular time. I thought the game would go to extra time. I wasn't ready for such an extended match as I have to wake up early the next morning. How relieved I was when it was going straight to the penalties.



And so, van der Sar was truly the hero when he saved all 3 penalties by Chelsea's multi-million dollars boys!! Hahaha.. For a moment, van der Sar seemed invincible. And, on a day that even Rio Ferdinand can score from the spot, it looked as if Peter Cech was a schoolboy playing his weekends soccer. Haha..



Anyway, I wasn't really pleased that they won. Partly, if we all know... the FACS Cup is quite jinx. Whoever wins it might not be the EPL champs. But who cares with all these myths?? United will prevail till next May and will all the trophies available. Hopefully.
