I bought myself a new toy yet again. Urgh...!
The whole story is this, I seriously need a new phone because my current phone is really hopeless. I have problem with it since god knows when but I didn't do anything about it. And, that was my first and last phone that I'll ever buy from Starhub.
But, my contract with them has not ended. I have a few months left. And, I've been planning to sign up for the Mio Plan since ages ago. So, I decided to go away from Nokia and get a Samsung. It was actually the $38 phone deal thingy for the Singtel phonebook collection flyer promo (sounds cheap.. its a temp phone anyway..). And, I bought the 2GB memory card for $65. My memory card was more expensive than my phone. Haha..
Well, the best part was.. after everything was done, the guy gave me this pleasant surprise which almost made me screamed at him! He said the phone is free since I've sign off for the Mio Plan. Supposedly, for Mio subscribers, any handset purchase would be offset by $120. Haiz.. if I had known, I would have get my dream phone. Like real.. Hahah.. I mean, if I had known.. I would probably get a better phone.
Perhaps, I have learnt to appreciate the value of money. I have learnt not to waste money so much like in the past... though I guess I have spent more than $500 on gadgets alone this month. And.. Comex is on at the end of this month! Hmmz.. nvm!
