As planned, I went out today after weeks of hiding behind the laptop doing my research and preparing the slides for my project. Not to mention the tests and assignments that came past like a tsunami attack. And, to reward myself, I planned to go out today. To just simply get away from all the stress.
I was quite well-behaved for quite a while.. I was at Comex, and didn't spend a single cent. Very weird for a savvy person like me not to splurge at such an event. I went to the event just to take a look and perhaps to get a 'shirt' for my lappie. And digital cameras were going around at such dirt cheap price. I was also looking around for a camcorder.
I finally saw the Garskin ads and asked one of the guy manning the HP booth for information. And he answered me confidently, ooh we don't carry garskin at this exhibition. I was so upset! Not because that they didnt have it but with his fucking attitude. However, I walk around further and saw some skins that were on sale. But I didnt like their design and name. After walking on.. I finally gave up.
But, I saw a skin which was ok, though 95% of me say don't buy it. Somehow, I bought it together with a keyboard protector. I was $32 poorer after that. I walked on further back to where I start, to the level where that bugger said they didnt have any garskin showcase. After I went on.. my search paid off. I found what I wanted. And, though I already bought one skin, I bought the original Garsking at $34.75.
So, I thought that was all the damage for the day. But, it wasnt the case!! Somehow, I ended up at the digital cameras booth. I dun need a digital camera right now cos my IXUS is still in a working condition. I need a camcorder more but I thought it was expensive at $700++.
Somehow, I ended up buying an Olympus digital camera costing at $549. How come I dun find $549 expensive at all?? I am not sure if I made the right decision.. I love photography but it seemed that I have no time to do it.
I have been spending quite a lot for my lappie. It seemed that every now and then I will be buying things for it... and actually right now I am aiming for a new lappie. But am not sure which model will attract my attention. Hahaha...
Ok, I am officially broke!
