Today, I broke the norm. I went out on a Sunday afternoon. And, of all place....? I went to town! Haha... Actually, I do not usually go out on a Sunday as far as possible. However, because I was meeting a former customer, I relented. And, I was the one who chose town.

The weather today is scorching hot! I was sweating profusely. And, as a result I didn't have the mood to shop around. I went to Popular at Orchard MRT. Huge yet a disappointment. Not a single textbook in sight. And... is there any other Popular around the stretch of Orchard?? I guess perhaps there's one at Plaza Singapura. So, from Orchard Parade Hotel I walked on till Midpoint Orchard and I gave up! I was contemplating between going back and going to Bras Basah Complex. In the end, fate says I should go to Bras Basah Complex since the bus has arrived.

Wow! I am amazed by the Popular there. Huge and spacious. A little disappointed because they ran out of the black Zebra marker! Upset! I just bought one recently. However, I seriously do not know where it went. It has mysteriously went missing. I guess I was too tired last Friday night and I misplaced it. The question is, WHERE? Never mind, my things always appear and disappear mysteriously anyway...

So, I had fun buying knick-knacks from Popular. I even bought another tube of super glue and a much needed photo album. I managed to find the book I needed and that was like the last copy. Luckily I went to Bras Basah Complex. You just won't get it wrong. Hahaha..

Anyways, lunch was great. I had fun. Great company; great conversation! Ok.. will talk about that another time.. I am trying to tell myself... its back to school/work tomorrow!! Argggghhhh...
