I want to talk about a long time platonic friend of mine. We've known each other for more than 6 years. We were the strangest combination of people to become friends. Weird but true. We became friends not through the 'hi' and 'bye' method, but rather we got acquainted because of a misunderstanding we had.
No doubts, there were moments that I did have a crush on him. Unfortunately, situations did not permit. At a particular moment in time, it would be either one party who is attached hence, we couldn't try getting into a relationship.
Despite our busy schedules, we are still friends till today. And, I decided I rather have him as my platonic friend, someone whom I can run too when I need help rather den getting into a relationship and poof the years of friendship ends if we were to break up.
And to you... after years of going around the circle, we are going through it all over again! We'll take it as it comes....
