Yesterday, my creative juices started oozing out. I was tasked to assist my colleague in decorating the classroom and cleaning the "dustiness" of the classroom. Luckily, there was no uninvited creepy crawlies! Phew..
Given about 2 hours to do the job, we were quite satisfied with the outcome. The new outlook we got was quite soothing to the eyes and colourful. We'll be back with more tomorrow. The dumb me was contemplating of bringing back my art materials or leave it in school. In the end, I decided to bring it back. But the silly me, tucked it nicely in my drawer without realising till about 10 pm! Heck, how am I going to continue the projects? Buying new supplies will be such a waste of money cos most of the items were bought recently. I guess, I will work on the clip arts for now...
I couldn't wake up this morning. There was no school today. Great escapism!! But, I was supposed to run my errands. There were no rush, just wanted to complete it quickly. I am amazed that I went to 3 different locations from south to east to central! I did it in a record 3 1/2 hours. I had expected to take more time to complete my errands.. hehe..
I got the baking materials for the lil' devils birthday all ready. The presents all ready. And.. the best thing, I got my sweet treats! There was a hype about the Mr Chewy. Its a stall selling a kind of dessert. You may say doughnuts+cream puff+pancake thingy though all combined into 1. There was a queue, not as long as it was said. Perhaps 2-3 people before me? I was told that there is this muffin store next door. It was quite empty when I was queueing for my Chewies.
After purchasing my Chewies, I bought the muffins. After I was done, there was a long queue! Lucky I was done with my purchases! Hehe..
My verdict? Nothing to shout about regarding the Chewies.. Not that fantastic though I guess the way it is presented is a novelty. I am more interested in the muffins though. It was served piping hot and really huge! And the price?? Just about $1-$1.20.. So worth it! The texture is so soft and the variety is so wide! Ok, I am exaggerating.. still, there were about 7 varieties. My favourite muffins, Cranberries and Cheese are there. So, no complains. *Grins*
