The treble was there for grab. The team has already put one leg on course to the Finals. Poof it went! And, the historic treble remained to be a pipe dream.

See... what did I say earlier on? As much as I wanted Unitd to advanced to the Finals, the hunch that something bad(in this case, United being knocked out of the Finals) will befall on United came true.

I am kind of disappointed on their overall performances. I supposed they were out to defend their slim 1 goal margin rather than adding to the lead. But one thing that they have forgotten is that they were playing against Ac Milan and not Everton or Roma!! I think, from the way they played this morning, they deserved this loss. It was like no one seemed to care that they were trailing by 2 goals at half-time.

So, what did Sir Alex say to the team during the break? I presumed, he said something like, "Dudes, just do your best. Chelsea's out of CL, so there's nothing more to worry about. Just prevent yourselves from getting injured so that we can wrapped up the EPL title by this weekend against our neighbour and concentrate on the FA Cup with that 'The Special One' wannabe!"

I believe if the guys have been eager to win, they would have fought their way to a 3-2 loss or perhaps a draw. Even if they had scored 2 goals, they would have bring the game into extra time. But, now its all too late to lament on the "what-ifs"!

Despite their luckstre performance today, the team had performed quite credibly on several occasions. To make their efforts even more worthwhile, their amazing performance was done without several key players as they were out injured towards the last stretch of the season.

Even if they did win the Champs League, that will be a bonus.

Anyways... believe my hunches for it always do come true!
