Apart from the supposedly 'goal' from Ryan Giggs which I strongly believed, the ball went over the line, he also made several other errors in his judgements. Perhaps, it was his first time refereeing in front of 90,000 people. Whatever his reason(s), it shouldn't have happened yesterday on a historical day. And to add insult to injury, United seemed to have lost their passion for playing proper football! I guess, they were more interested in winning the EPL title! That was the only title that have eluded them for almost 4 years. And, the only reason they were in the FA Cup finals was because that's the only title worth fighting for should they lose the EPL title to Chelsea!
Ok.. I know, I know.. all these are my excuses. But seriously, United have not been playing so well of late. I hate the way they play against AC Milan in the second leg of the UCL semi-finals. I hate the way they played their football against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. And, the way they lost to West Ham on the last day of the season. Perhaps, if they had not lost to AC Milan, and is enroute to the Treble, perhaps they would not have lost last night. But, yes... it will be a long while before the current squad emulate the class of 98-99. I hope this will happen before Giggsy retire.

Recently, I am suffering from another bout of insomnia attacks. I am not too sure why. Truthfully speaking, there is nothing bothering me. I am feeling ok. Perhaps, the only matter that did bother me is the result of whether I'll be starting school this July or next July. But, that does not affect me greatly till I can't sleep. Each night, I am sleepy way before sleep time, but I can't sleep when its time to sleep.
The worst came over the weekends. On Friday night, I didn't get to sleep till 2 am and last night, I didn't sleep till way past 3 am. I was wide awake by 9 am each morning. I hope this will be over soon as the holidays are almost here!! Just 4 more official days.. and, yeah 4 days of meetings BUT nothing to worry as no lesson plans to prepare!! FREEDOM!

My kitchen is in full force yet again! I've this sudden urge to cultivate my passion for baking. On Saturday, I baked a Banana Lapis Cake. I have not uploaded that picture yet. I doubt I'll as the photos is of poor quality. But I'll try to snap some new pictures later.
Review: The cake was a success. The layers turned out nicely. However, I didn't really like the cake. A tad too dry and not as banana-ish(is there such a word??) as I had thought. And, I thought, it would be a lil' milky as there is usage of vanilla ice-cream powder. But, disappointment.
Anyways, its the first trial. Not too bad. Perhaps, I should substitute the flour to HK flour and add some milk to give a softer texture and milky taste. Ok, next time I can try again. Cos, I want to try to bake the Lapis Strawberry Ice-cream cake and the Lapis Neopolitan. I got to do my research so as to confirm what cakes I need to bake this coming Hari Raya. I know, its like 5 months away. But, time flies and before you know it.. Hari Raya is here yet again.
On Sunday, err.. which is today, I baked some egg tarts. It was my first try. And, I guess it was a success. It taste just like those found in shops. Only that the presentation part, can be improved. I am one who have no sense of consistency! Hehe... Just take a look at the pictures..
