I have been wanting to post an entry since yesterday but to no avail. I had difficulties signing in. Irritating!
So.. what happened during the weekends?
Left school at 6 plus in the evening on Friday due to the markings of the exam papers. And, reached BB in a record time. It took me about half an hr by train from school.
Adik was happy to see me. But he threw tantrum after a while as he wasn't feeling well. Our supposedly swimming trip was cancelled as he was down with fever, and I have to nurse him.
He loves the Ultraman bag and the Spiderman toothbrush. So cute.
On Sunday, which was yesterday, we attended a wedding which I should say quite disappointing and if I were to be the host(s), I would be embarrased. Then it was off to SGH and spent almost half the day there. I didn't get home till 10 plus. And, I was definitely tired like nobody's business!
I was so eager to see if United would be crowned Champions last night. I had confidence that despite the hatred I had for Arsenal, I knew that Chelsea will trip and fall at Emirates Stadium. So much confidence that I had, I went to sleep without watching the game. This morning, I woke up with a nice gift for a United fan! Yes...We are the Champions of England despite the fact that we do not have expensive players. As in, we do not have the Ballacks or Schvechenkos. Apart from the 18.6 million pounds in Carrick which I still feel its a waste of money. Yet, we triumph.
Did anyone read the papers yesterday? About some sour grapes by the name of Mikel who snubbed United for the so called team called 'The Blues'?? He said something like United do not deserve to win the EPL title. Having said that, he was trying to say that Chelsea still deserve to win it for the third time. He said Chelsea was unlucky to come to terms with injuries. Hello.. as if United wasn't slapped with injuries! Look how injuries struck the team and we do not have a BIG team like Chelsea! So, the difference between United and Chelsea is, despite the injuries, United still go on and fight for victories while for Chelsea, despite their so expensive price tags, they couldnt cope when Cech and Terry was injured. That is the difference of Champions and the makings of the Champions! Got it sour grapes??
Bottom line is.. we are THE CHAMPIONS!!
