This sms came in a while ago... It reads...
"Tho de remaining team is good & friendly..its not de same without u at Spin!"
It came from one of my regular customer. I never expected him to sms me this or rather I least expected him to even sms me. His message made me miss the people again! All over again.. I mean I was over and done with the sleepless night and all...
Of late, several of my regulars who have my mobile number have been contacting me.. was it wrong to give them my number in the first place? I don't think so.. Its one of the way to keep in touch.
Apart from sms-es there were emails to reply. Its like after a long while.. I am finally 'actively' making use of my email address. Haha.. Since its going to be back to school.. the PC is going to be my next buddy, working hand-in-hand with me. But, my close friends would say.. "since when wasn't the PC your buddy??" Haha..
And... somehow, I came up with an idea to reminisce on my Spin days and all the people who have made my time there memorable. I had this notebook with an image of a coffee cup which I bought from Page One. This notebook is supposed to be my notebook for school and stuff but instead, I used this book to paste all the cards and pictures that I have of my customers'. Ok, minus the pictures part... I have not print the pics out.. will do it pretty soon.. but all the cards that I have received its all there. Especially the tiny x'mas card which was part of last year's xmas decor.
Beside each card, I've made a little note.. their full name if I know, their drinks order, the country they are from and names of their spouse(s) and children. Its all there.. should I lose my memory one day.. at least its all there in the book.. I'll slowly decorate the book when I have the time.. I'll include the xmas decor pictures as well which I did over the last two years and dedicated to all my regulars. I am so proud that the store won the first prize because I knew it was going to be my last Christmas there...
See.. a text msg that came in suddenly made me write a lengthy post.. hmmz...
