3rd Day of bumming around.. nothing much to shout about. I kinda "ransacked" my wardrobe and re-arrange all my clothings. I need to get some new clothes before I start to teach. Grr.. I hate all these image restrictions! I'll have more to think about when it come to dressing up. That means, I got to wake up earlier than usual...
In the late afternoon, I went back to Spin to return my uniform. There's a dateline for it. Guess, I got to do it quickly as I have planned other activities over the next few days. I was hoping not to run into any regular customers because it was already so hard for me to get on with life after the resignation last Friday.. and I know, I'll feel even more upset if I sees them today.
But, the more you try to avoid seeing people, the higher your chances are bumping into them. That was what happened. I ran into Kim, one of my favourite customer. We had a long chat and I am sure its not going to be the last. Then, what a coincidence, I met Rama and Hanna. It was a joy to see Rama because she's based in Bangkok. And, I also ran into Big Daddy! Chaotic. Urghh...! I so missed the place and the people!!
There are some customers whom I ran into but they were not aware of my resignation. They were surprised. I ran into Scott who's based abroad, can't remember where.. was is Melbourne?? I have always wanted to tell him about my resignation but had no chance, so today I finally did.
While I was waiting for my ex-colleague to finish work, I saw someone so familiar.. I swear I saw him before somewhere... But I couldn't remember where and what's the chap's name was.. I kept on thinking and thinking before a familar name came into my mind. "Russell" is his name. He used to be one of my regular customer but he left Singapore about 2 years ago. Too bad, I didn't get a chance to catch up with him.
While I was at Spin, ran into an old friend. He didn't know I have resigned thinking that I'll leave only in March. Spend some time catching up with him and boy, it had been a long time since I last saw him. I didn't know that I am so popular as everyone who walks past were waving at me! Haha..
Again, I am missing the place and the people I knew... but again, I will be back for visits from time to time!
